Our summer program for teens is fun and adventurous! We help teens develop their character by providing a safe and guided social environment where the activities are intended to expand theri world perspective. We instill the YMCA's 4 Core Values, Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility in every aspect of our program.
Teens will go on Weekly Trips which include:
Parks, Bowling, California Science Center, NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratories, Griffith Park Observatory, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Orange County Fair, Knott's Berry Farm, Olvera Street, China Town, Santa Monica Pier

PRESCHOOL CHILD CARE |
| Our YMCA Preschool program located at our East Whittier Branch, is a licensed year round program that provides a safe and enriching environment where your child can grow mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally, preschool is also about having fun. Our Program features well trained professional staff, certified in First Aid and CPR. Our class rooms offer low teacher to child ratio with morning and afternoon nutrition snacks. Our Program will prepare your child to enter kindergarten with a Pre-Kindergarten readiness curriculum that is stimulating, enriching with age appropriate activities, including: Art, Music, Math, Language, Science, Library Visits, Summer Field Trips and social development skills. With fulltime enrollment your child receives a YMCA Youth Membership so that they are eligible to participate in extra curricular activities that include: tap, ballet, swimming and tiny tumbling classes once a week.

SCHOOL AGE CHILD CARE |
| Our YMCA School Age program runs from September 6th - June 21st, from two locations we server most schools in the following districts: Lowell Joint, East Whittier, Whittier City School, and Los Nietos. Our Licensed program has well trained Teachers Certified in Early Childhood/Elementary Education, First Aid and CPR. Children will be picked up and transported to one of our sites were they will have on opportunity to participate in variety or activities that include Home Work Club, Arts and Crafts, Sports Activities and Games. Children who are enrolled in any of the following extra curricular activities like swimming, karate, gymnastics, or dance classes, will be transported to class at not extra charge. With full time enrollment your child will receive a YMCA youth membership.
