Private Swim Instruction
All Ages

Private lessons are a one to one swim lesson which is scheduled by the Aquatics Director. Private swim lessons allow the instructor to focus solely on the needs of their student. Our instructors will work with the student and parents to create a swim lesson that is both fun and instructional.
During certain times of the year we have a waitlist for private instruction. To add you name to the waitlist please fill out a request form at the YMCA courtesy counter. After you have been called and scheduled with an instructor, payment is due before the first lesson begins. Each lesson is 30 minutes in length.
                          

Special Needs Private Instruction
Ages 1-17 years

The Greater Whittier YMCA has been instructing children and adults with special needs for over 20 years. All children and adults, no matter the disability are welcome in our program. Private lessons are a one to one swim lesson which is scheduled by the Aquatics Director. Private swim lessons allow the instructor to focus solely on the needs of their student. All participants must be clients of the Regional Center.
