MEMORIAL DAY FAMILY WORK WEEKEND
Dates: May 24-27, 2013
Cost & Age Groups: Parents who participate in work projects
One child for each parent participating in work projects
Description:
Come help get YMCA Camp Arbolado ready for our busy summer season. Work projects will include painting, trail maintenance, washing and cleaning, fire clearance, and more. Each parent who participates in a work project for at least 2 days will earn $100 toward's one child's summer camp fee. Camp activities will be provided during the day for children attending.
SUMMER SESSIONS,
Included in the cost: Transportation, meals, all camp activities, camp T-shirt, session photo
Counselors In Training (CIT): Ages 15-17, fee is half the camp fee.
Session 1: July 20 – 27, 2013
Session 2: August 3 – 10, 2013
Earn your way to camp
All campers can earn part of their way to camp by selling YMCA Trail Mix, and/or by participating in our annual "Kids to Camp" Walkathon, sponsored by the Whittier PM Y's Men's Club. Call the Camp Office for details.
Camp Fee Assistance (Camperships)
Income-based Camperships are available for all camp sessions for children who cannot, because of family income, afford to pay our published camp fees. Please contact the Camp, East Whittier or Uptown Whittier YMCAs for Campership applications and instructions on how to apply.
LABOR DAY WEEKEND FAMILY CAMP

Description: Need a little quality time with your family? YMCA Camp Arbolado provides an exceptional environment for you and your family to get away from television, traffic, and the telephone in exchange for swimming, canoeing, archery, mountain biking, arts and crafts, campfire programs, special events and family games. We even do the cooking and wash the dishes!
