Our Mission

The YMCA of Greater Whittier is an association of all people united in a common effort to put Judeo-Christian principles into daily practice and to enrich the quality of spiritual, mental, physical, and social life of their families, their community, and themselves.

Our Pledge

The YMCA of Greater Whittier strongly believes in making our facilities, classes, and programs affordable to all.  Within the available resources, we will provide assistance to those who wish to participate regardless of their ability to pay.  If our fees are a concern, Please ask about our income based membership rates.

Our Values

The YMCA of Greater Whittier is committed to the healthy development of our community.  We put a strong emphasis on building character by modeling four core values in all our programs:
