The Youth Adventure Center is available to Youth and Family Members 6 to 13 years old. All 6-9 years old must be checked in by an adult.

Experience the fun of interactive entertainment and physical fitness! Play in a secure environment while increasing your strength, stamina, and flexibility. Meet other youths who share similar interest and just want to have a good time. Featured activities include table tennis, computer games, Nintendo Wii Fit & Wii Sports Games, Play Station II on our Big Screen and a 20-foot high rock-climbing wall. All adventure –seekers welcome!

Y KIDS KLUB

(Available only at the East Whittier Location)
Our YMCA Kids Klub Program is a benefit of youth and family memberships. It offers kids 6 to 13 years old a variety of programs to enhance the MIND, strengthen the BODY and lift the SPIRIT.
Kids Klub Hours
Monday - Thursday 3:30 - 6:00 pm
MIND FIT
Smart games like chess and backgammon, designed to get the noodle thinking! Staff will help kids learn games, as well as giving them pointers and strategies. No video games, just good old-fashioned board games.
SPORTS FUN
We will play traditional sports while learning skills, values, sportsmanship, and having fun!
GYMNASTICS
We do some tumbling, bean and floor work while enjoying samples of our exciting YMCA Gymnastics Program.
BODY FIT
Featuring heart-pumping, muscle-strengthening exercises all set to upbeat music. We will teach kids how to properly stretch, use our kid-size strength equipment and play challenging cardiovascular games such as Dance Dance Revolution.
Y KIDS ZONE
Y Kids Zone features the latest "fitness" video games and kid-size exercise equipment. Parents who want to enjoy programs at the East Whittier YMCA can leave kids ages 6-13 with our Kids Zone Staff to experience fun and challenging activities.
READING TIME
Kids will discover the joy of reading, learning and exploring their imagination.

21st Century Learning Centers
Academic Enrichment program with well trained staff, introduces the students to literacy activities and enrichment activities such as arts and crafts, sports, homework help, music, cook/nutrition and field trips. (Only Available During the School Year)
Available at 10 elementary schools within the Whittier City School District.
