Boy Camper testimonial

"Camp is outrageously fun!  The Camp Counselors are so amazing!  They help you out and make everything fun!  I meet new people and make lasting friendships."

- Ki, 13 year-old Camper

Camp Ages 8 - 14

"We Create Unforgettable Adventures and Strong, Confident Hearts!"

Experience nature.  Hike nearby trails with your cabin, learn about constellations in astronomy, take part in an out-camping experience.  Relax near the creek during gold panning and get creative in our historic arts and crafts lodge.

Explore our grounds and learn about the natural world around you during our Nature, Geology, Native American, Leadership and High Adventure Programs.

Complete group challenges at our low ropes course.  Challenge yourself on our rock wall and high ropes courses.  Test your precision on our archery range.  Build your stamina on a mountain bike ride or invite another cabin of one of our classic camp games.

Cool off with your cabin at our ADA compliant swimming pool, and enjoy supervision by our certified lifeguards.  Take a hike to our beach on picture-perfect Jenks Lake, and paddle around in a canoe or kayak.

Campers live in a cabin with about 10 children their own age and two adult volunteer cabin counselors.  All of our adult volunteer staff are trained and DOJ background checked.  Throughout the Session, the campers will be encouraged to engage with each other, build strong cabin teams, and stronger Hearts.

Meals are served family style and every cabin eats together.  Breakfast, lunch, and dinner consist of warm, delicious balanced meals.  In addition, we also feature cereal, fruit, and salad bars.  Vegetarian options are available at each meal.  Fresh fruit snacks are available all day.

Volunteer counselors and directors are trained to ensure safety, demonstrate the YMCA core values, and support each and every camper's growth.  Our medical staff are volunteers certified in their fields and are trained to maintain the physical health of campers.

Every night, cabin groups have the opportunity to create and perform skits and songs with each other on stage.  This is a truly magical activity where a child's or teen's confidence blossoms!  Under the guidance of trained staff, our ropes course, mountain biking, leadership programs, water activities, and other camp programs foster confidence and independence.  Every single staffer or volunteer is committed to seeing your child or teen leave our Sessions with not only a big smile, but an even bigger Heart!
